well, i cant blame the movie to have things going on differently from the manga/anime.
the main actor is ok but not awesome to be raito, though i may say that he's a good raito candidate for he is one of the most famous star in japan.. also, i already associated him with shuya from battle royale movie.
anyways, the twists they made are "not that strong" compared to the incident happened in the manga.
at the same time, i was looking forward on what the ending would be but it just ended abruptly. it was understandable for those who read the manga but absolutely not for those who are not familiar with deathnote for it does not conclude anything. i just hope that this movie is just an installment of a trilogy or something for other people to really appreciate it.

now that i know that there's a sequence, well.. i dunno. im still not lookin forward on seeing what will happen next. or maybe, what i am thinking right now is, if L will be like what happened in the manga or the "other situation" where Near will not be necessary anymore.. oh, hope anyone understands me cause im really careful not to spill any spoiler.. hehe
